Our guided walks are designed to create the most drama from the conditions on the day. After a short meeting at the starting point to discuss basic safety aspects, we will proceed to walk a set route for the day. We will point out what we see, share the basic history of the area, and provide relevant quirky facts. We will stop for lunch at one of our personal favorite viewpoints and try to learn about the lives of the participants. We will get them involved in photos so they will never forget their day. This will all be done in a friendly, jovial, and upbeat manner.
We want our walkers to be amazed at what they see, but we also want them to leave as well-informed hill walkers, both in the history of the area and with good knowledge of the outdoors and the challenges it can pose for the walker. We want them to learn a lot, feel uplifted and energized, and to be challenged. They will certainly find all of this on an Antrim Rambler Guided Walk to the hills and coastline of Northern Ireland and beyond…
